Have a pet seat belt but the tether is damaged? If the dog car harness is still in good shape, you can purchase just a tether. We have three sizes of replacement tethers from Bergan and one size of replacement tether from PetBuckle. The Bergan replacement tether can be used with any seat belt system. The PetBuckle Kwik-Connect tether can only be used on 2001 model cars with a latch bar between the seat cusions. Other pet seat belt accessories include an auto zip line and the AngelGuard. The auto zip line can be used with our Kurgo Tru-Fit, Bergan, Guardian Gear or Cruising Companion, and PetBuckle pet seat belt without the tether. The AngelGuard can only be used with the Kurgo Tru-Fit Smart dog car harness brand.

If you already have a dog car harness but the tether is chewed through, consider a replacement tether. The Bergan brand will work anywhere while the PetBuckle will only work on the latchbar of 2001 model cars or later. Another great pet travel accessory is the Auto Zip Line from Kurgo. It can be used with any seat belt brand so that your dog can go back and forth from window to window, but not onto the floor, the center console, or out the window (depending on whether it is hooked up high or low).
