These comfortable dog car seat belts are a new design made by Cruising Companion.  They have padded, vest-style restraints that evenly distribute pressure upon braking to keep pets comfortably secure.  The houndstooth pattern dog car seat belts come in Black & White, Brown & White, and Pink & White.  These dog car seat blets consist of two parts:  1) the nylon harness which is adjustable to fit your dog and has a strong steel D-ring used to attach a leash or the 2) nylon strap which buckles directly into the seat belt receptacle.  Because the nylon strap buckles directly into the seat belt receptacle rather than loop around the seat belt of the car, there is little chance of your dog getting tangled.  This seat belt is perfect for dogs who like to sit, stand, lie down, or move around in the car.  The Extend-A-Seat on the Other Pet Travel Products page is a perfect way to give your dog more room to move around.  Please note the size specifications for the Houndstooth dog car seat belts.  The Houndstooth extra-small dog car seat belts only fit toy breeds with a girth (chest) size of 12"-14" while the Houndstooth small/medium dog car seat belts fit a girth size of 20"-27".  There are no Houndstooth dog car seat belts which will fit a dog with a girth between 15" and 20".  Be sure to measure your dog's chest size to make sure you get the right fit.
