Presenting the X-Large Bergan Replacement Tether

This 1.5" wide replacement tether made by Bergan has been strength tested and can be used with most dog seatbelt brands including Kurgo Tru-Fit, PetBuckle, Guardian Gear, Cruising Companion, and Bergan. The extra large Bergan dog harness tether can be lengthened from about 12-24 inches. It has a carabiner on each end and attaches to any seatbelt system (pictured below).

Please note, that if your dog is taller than 24 inches or needs a longer tether, that there are no tethers longer than 24 inches for the safety of your dog. A longer tether would mean that your dog would get thrown around more in the event of a car accident.

Please check the seat belt housing to see if the tether has a way to clip into it. The Bergan tether may not work with the seat belt housings of newer model Mercedes.
