Safety

The Backseat Bridge covers the floor of your car to provide two major benefits. First, if your dog is wearing a dog car harness with an extendable tether, you can lengthen the tether so that he is able to have more space to move around. Second and most importantly, if you have to make a sudden stop, your dog will not get thrown onto the floor of your car. We have found this to be a great product for medium to large dogs, especially on long trips when the dogs need to stretch out or get up and move around.

Features
The center partition helps to keep your dog from standing on the center console. Please note, however, that the center partition of the Backseat Bridge does not act like a barrier and a determined dog who is not wearing a dog car harness can circumvent it. The Backseat Bridge is also waterproof.

Size and Weight
The Backseat Bridge features adjustable straps that attach around car seat and headrest. It is sturdy enough to hold a 100 pound dog. We have used it for two large dogs, one over 65 pounds and one at 50 pounds. Measures approximately 52" x 16".

Colors
The Backseat Bridge made by Kurgo is reversable from tan to black.
